Legal
Terms of Service
Plain version: design freely, pay once to export, print responsibly, and measure before you drill.
Who you're dealing with
Once Upon A Home is a trading name of Tailwind Solutions LLC ("we", "us") — Tailwind Solutions LLC is the legal entity you contract with. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to accept them for that company.
Using Once Upon A Home
Once Upon A Home is a planning tool for gallery walls. You may use it for personal or commercial projects. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done under your account is your responsibility.
Don't misuse the service. That means: nothing unlawful, no fraud or spam, no uploading content you don't hold the rights to, and no interfering with how the service runs — malware, probing, scraping, or getting around technical limits. Don't reverse engineer or resell the service itself.
Your photos and layouts
You keep all rights to the photos and layouts you create, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process them purely to run the service — to save your wall, restore it on another device, and generate your guide. We own the service itself: the software, the stencils, the frame data, and the branding.
Purchases and payment
Designing is free. Exporting requires a one-off pass: a one-month pass or a one-year pass, priced as shown on the pricing page. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never see or store your card details.
Refunds
You have 30 days from purchase to request a refund. The full terms are on our refund policy page.
Accuracy and your wall
Stencils are generated at 1:1 scale and include a calibration square so you can verify your printer output before hanging. Always check the calibration square and your own measurements. Once Upon A Home is a planning aid — you are responsible for the drilling, fixings, and the wall itself, including any damage that results.
Service level and liability
We work to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost data, or goodwill. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law says it can't be excluded.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, if a payment fails or is reversed, if there's a security or fraud risk, or for repeated policy violations. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data.
Availability and changes
We may update or change the service, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
